ForeverWell is a lifestyle that encompasses all who are working to become active or those who strive to remain active.  At the YMCA, we value all members and believe there is no age limit on fitness. We offer a variety of classes and programs so each member can find what is right for them. Our Group Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers have studied fitness at all ages and are well-equipped to help to guide each level of exerciser toward a class or routine that will be safe and effective for them. Whether you are 50 or 105, we have just what you need!

ForeverWell Group Exercise Classes:

All of our classes can be modified to suit each participant's needs. However, we recommend using the scale below to help. If you still have questions, contact our ForeverWell Coordinator, at 218.241.8008 x526 

1 dumbbell

Class will be chair-based, recommended for those looking for a more gentle class.

 

2 dumbbells

Chairs are available for use during class as needed, gentle to moderate level.

 

3 dumbbells

Chairs are present as a prop; participants should be prepared to spend the duration of class on their feet. Class is still low impact, recommended for moderate to advanced exercisers.

AQUA ZUMBA

Classic water aerobics with a little Latin dance flavor! Perform large muscle movements in this fun but challenging water-based fitness class.

Focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. You will use hand-held weights, elastic tubing, and a ball. A chair is used for seated exercises or standing support.
