Inclusion Specialist 

Position Summary: In an attempt to make the summer camp experience accessible for all youth, Camp Miller, is looking to provide inclusion support for campers through this internship position. Our Inclusion Specialist Intern will work directly with youth in grades K-12 to provide behavioral support while they explore, play and expand their problem solving potential. This intern will work as an on-site aid to any campers with specialized needs. The focus will be on supporting individual campers to be successful and comfortable in the camps changing and dynamic environment. This internship position will provide the student with practical experience working with a wide variety of youth in an outdoor setting. Program Development and Data Management

Position Summary: True North AmeriCorps partners with non-profits, schools and community agencies around the Duluth area to support youth who possess various risk factors.  AmeriCorps is a national service program and members commit to a year of service in the community. They earn a modest living stipend and an education award as they mentor children and facilitate academic enrichment. Diabetes Prevention Program Assistant

Position Summary: Intern will assist in implementing a National Diabetes Prevention Program.  This is a group based program consisting of weekly sessions led by a trained Lifestyle Coach who facilitates a small group of people with similar goals.  Discussion topics include healthy eating, increasing physical activity, reducing stress and how behavior changes can benefit health.  This program is designed for people who are at high risk for type 2 diabetes and want to lower their risk.  To view the full job description, click here.
