The Duluth Area Family YMCA operates the Park Point Recreation Area on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Duluth. The Y oversees the Beach House concession stand, manages the rental of the beach house, pavilions, and fields for parties, wedding receptions and other gatherings, as well as provides beach lifeguards.
Contact Cheryl Podtburg at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information or to book your event.
Beach Conditions and Updates
The Beach House is open to the public from 11 am - 4 pm daily, weather permitting. If conditions are safe for swimming and the lifeguards are on duty, the building is open for public use during these hours. The building is closed if the lifeguards cannot work due to weather or for safety reasons. Visiting www.parkpointbeach.org will give you more information on weather conditions.
Want to see the Beach House before you book? Stop in the building anytime the building is open to the public! *Site visits may be scheduled, and will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. Email email@example.com for available times.*
