Tri-Swim/ Masters Swim League
Location: Duluth Family Area YMCA
Time: Mondays and Fridays 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- Cost: $60/month for members and $120/month for community members
- Participants are required to have a bank account or credit card on file for monthly drafts. Drafts for the upcoming month's dues will come out on the 1st of each month.
We are taking our Tri-Swim to the next level, becoming a U.S. Masters Swimming group! Please email lthoreson@duluthymca.org with any questions on becoming a Masters swimmer.
Get up and move! Enjoy a morning workout with friends alongside Bill Punyko our swim team veteran and extraordinaire. The workout and coaching feedback will be sure to improve your strokes and increase your endurance. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged!

Join us for our Intro to Lap Swimming class! With expert coaching and encouragement from fellow swimmers, you'll enhance your strokes, boost endurance, and gain confidence in the water. Stop dreaming about being a swimmer; dive in and make it a reality! This class is designed for adults who are comfortable in the water and have the ability to float and tread water.

Northerns Swim Team Regular Season
Location: YMCA at the Essentia Wellness Center, Downtown Duluth YMCA

Ages: 5 yrs - 18 yrs
Make friends, learn team skills, and compete with our Duluth YMCA Northerns Swim Team! The Duluth YMCA Northerns Swim Team is for swimmers ages 5-18 who are able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and 25 yards of backcrawl. At practice, swimmers will be separated by ability levels to work on strokes, technique, endurance and team building. Participants in this program must be members of the YMCA.

Big Water Swim Challenge
Location: YMCA at the Essentia Wellness Center and Downtown Duluth YMCA
Time: November 18th, 2024 - May 17th, 2025
Ages: 6 yrs and up
- Cost: $35
Join us in our Big Water Swim Challenge! This year we are swimming the Lake Superior Water Trail from the boarder to Michigan along the shoreline all the way to the Canadian border. Complete the 314-mile swim by yourself or sign up with a team. Track your progress on our posters; see you in the water! All registered participants will receive a Big Water Swim Challenge T-Shirt!
