We are committed to your well-being, and that includes ensuring you have access to essential healthcare resources. That's why we are proud to offer the services of an experienced MNsure Navigator to assist you in your journey to affordable and quality healthcare coverage.

What is MNsure? MNsure is Minnesota's health insurance marketplace, where individuals and families can explore, compare, and enroll in health insurance plans that suit their needs and budgets. It's the go-to platform for securing comprehensive health coverage through the state’s public health care programs and is also the only place to purchase private coverage and receive a tax credit.

Why Work with a MNsure Navigator? Navigating the MNsure system can be complex. Our dedicated MNsure Navigator is here to simplify the process and guide you every step of the way.

How to Get in Touch

Getting started with our MNsure Navigator is easy. We recommend sending an email first to request a phone consultation. Usually, this initial phone screening takes about 15-20 minutes and helps us get on the same page about your situation. If an in-person appointment is necessary, we will set up a time to meet at one of our Duluth Area YMCA locations. Reach out today!

Do I have to be a Y member to get help from your navigator?

No. Our navigator can help anyone who lives in the state of Minnesota.

How to I know if I qualify for a plan through MNsure?

Our navigator will help you understand this, but generally speaking – if you don’t have another health insurance plan (or an offer of a health insurance plan from an employer) there is a really good chance you will be eligible for coverage through MNsure.

Do you take walk-in appointments?

No, but local navigators from our Insure Duluth coalition are available for walk-ins every week at these locations:

Duluth Public Library
520 West Superior Street, Duluth, MN 55802
Thursdays - Noon-6pm

Government Services Center
320 West 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55802
Mondays - Noon-4pm

What information would I need to bring to an appointment?
  • Current insurance information, including plans offered by an employer even if you’re not enrolled
  • Household income information (paystubs, screenshots of pay, recent taxes, social security information)
  • Social security numbers and birth dates for all household members (your household is considered the people with whom you files taxes)
