Dear YMCA Friends, Family, and Community,
As I reflect on another unusual year, I am both honored and humbled by the YMCA’s continued opportunity to meet our community’s most pressing needs.
Once again, our community faced uncertainty, and once again, you joined with us as we rose to meet the needs of our community members. With your support, our staff served meals, made connections, and ensured that everyone in the Northland had the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to thrive.
Once again, our YMCA created spaces in which all people were not only welcomed but truly celebrated. With an unflagging dedication to health equity, social justice, and youth development, our YMCA helped our community to ensure that:
- Parents and caregivers had access to high-quality early education and afterschool programs for their children
- Families received the healthy food they needed to thrive
- Individuals of all ages and abilities could access vital community connections
- Community members had equal access to inclusive wellness programs and services
The YMCA is unlike any other organization in its ability to deliver comprehensive and innovative services and support to all members of our community throughout their lifetimes.
