Calling ghouls and ghosts of all ages!!!
YMCA Community Services has teamed up with Ursa Minor Brewing for an extra spooky DiffeRUNce 5K for Food Access on October 26th! Gather your friends & put on your costume for a fun romp, all to support increased food access and healthy living programs of the Y. Dress up and come on out in your best costume!
A suggested donation for registration is $35 for those 13 and up and $15 for children 5-12. Got a little one in a stroller? Anyone 4 or under is free!
A free-will donation of any amount will also secure your registration.
The "DiffeRUNce" is a great way to make a difference by giving back to the community while being active –you can make a DiffeRUNce by running, walking your dog, or pushing a stroller! The race will begin at 10:00 a.m. right in front of the Ursa Minor Brewery (2415 W Superior Street B, Duluth) and follows the Michigan St. bike path, crossing the pedestrian bridge and then looping back the same way. We'll see you back at Ursa Minor to celebrate your run, name the winner, and take part in some swag prize drawings!
For the smoothest race, Register in advance ONLINE.
Same-Day registration is also available, but you must arrive at Ursa Minor Brewing one hour before the run (9 a.m.) to register.
Your donation gains you entry to the fun, with 100% of the proceeds going to YMCA Community Services, a branch of the Duluth Area Family YMCA, a nonprofit agency with a mission to provide greater access to health and wellness opportunities in our community through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
