A perfect demonstration of The Perfect Game!
The Northshore Handball Tournament showcases the region's handball talent and offers clinics for those interested in learning to play. As an honor to one of Duluth's finest players, contenders vie to be engraved on the Alva Rankin Memorial Cup. This is also one of four major events in the Minnesota Handball Elite Series (mnhandball.org/elite), a ranking system for the state's most accomplished players.
Tournament matches are free and open to the public for spectating. Tournament results will be posted by Duluth Handball on Facebook.
For clinics, preregistration with the YMCA is encouraged:
Why Learn Handball?
-
- It's fun and easy to learn! (Hit the ball to the wall and don't let it bounce twice).
- A great form of exercise that challenges players to use both hands interchangeably.
- A low cost, lifetime sport played at all skill levels.
