Molly Hieb (she/her/hers)
Molly is the True North AmeriCorps Program Coordinator for the Duluth Area Family YMCA. She has her masters in education and has moved out of the classroom into a role where she now gets to support others that are working with youth in our community! Molly believes that Social Emotional Learning skills are critical for students and she's happy to be a part of a team that is intentionally focusing on those areas.
Molly lives in Duluth with her husband and her cat, Tilly! In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, spending time with friends, cooking, and watching all of her favorite shows. She also love to get outside and enjoy the beauty that Duluth has to offer.

Becca Meersman (she/her/hers)
Becca is the True North AmeriCorps Human Resources Manager at the Duluth Area Family YMCA and oversees the True North AmeriCorps program. Becca started at the Y in 2019 and focuses on helping programs and other YMCAs in compliance, recruitment, and coordination. Even though she just started working directly with the program in 2024, Becca has worked with the program indirectly for the past 5 years and has seen the success of the program and the impact it has on the members and the youth they serve.
Becca grew up in Duluth and now lives in Superior with her husband and dog, Johnny Cash. In her free time, she spends her time crafting, watching baseball, and helping at local events.
