Athletes work on speed and learn competitive strokes, turns, starts, and official rules of swimming and racing.
Short Course Season Dates September 4-May 9
Practice Times: Tuesdays and Fridays 6:05-7:05am

Additional Practices (adults may swim with the advanced group of the youth swim team at the following times:)
Athletes work on endurance and distance training as they prepare for tri season. The primary focus of this season is front crawl, breast stroke, and side stroke (strokes that are typically used in triathlons). Some other strokes and drills will appear throughout the workouts, but tri racing and resting strokes will be the primary focus.

Evaluations are a valuable tool used to measure participant satisfaction, personal impact, and our ability to meet program objectives. Results of these evaluations help us make important decisions.
