DAY CAMP (Ages 5-12)

At Camp Miller, day campers participate in theme-based weeks full of activity and camp fun! Each session lasts one week and runs Monday through Friday with days beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 4:30 pm. We also provide extended care from 7:45 am until 5:30 pm to allow working parents enough time for drop off in the morning and pick up in the evening.

Day Camp introduces campers to our four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Day Campers become a part of the Camp Miller community as they gain confidence and independence through traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, climbing the tower, field games, horseback riding, swimming in the lake, and more. Many day campers eventually become overnight campers and love that they already know the ropes here at camp!

Daily Schedule

The below schedule is just an example. Your camper will experience all of the things listed below and MORE during their week at camp. Activity schedules will vary based on day and theme of the week.

Morning: We begin each day with a welcome and introductions, followed by two group activities.

Afternoon: We then enjoy packed lunches under the pavilion and enjoy a quiet, restful siesta before swimming or boating in the lake. Afterwards, two more group activities are enjoyed before free time during pick up. On Fridays, afternoon group activities are replaced by all-camp games and events catered to the theme of the week.

While group activities can vary to fit the theme of the week, they can include activities such as archery, arts and crafts, climbing tower, horseback riding, and more. Certain activities that require specific gear, such as close-toed shoes. Staff will notify you in advance of special preparations needed to participate in activities.
