True North AmeriCorps is increasing the number of positive adults in children's lives through tutoring, mentoring and after school programs. The Duluth YMCA oversees the placement of 73 AmeriCorps members at 50 different non-profit agencies and schools throughout a 10 county area within NE Minnesota. Eligible members receive benefits during their year of service including a living stipend, education scholarship, health & dental insurance and child care reimbursement. Positions range from fulltime to 300 hours per year.
